About Us
Mark Evans Cabinets is owned by a 3rd generation cabinet maker, Mark Evans, SR, and has been open since 2003. We quickly outgrew our first shop and purchased our second location in 2004. Over the years, we have added on twice to this location. We decided in 2023 to purchase a new property to build a new building, as we have outgrown our current location, once again. We hope to break ground by 2025. We use top notch technology i.e. new door machines, CNC machine, Designing software, etc., to streamline our processes and keep our projects moving at an ideal pace. We fabricate all of our own custom items, but also offer an RTA line to give as many options as possible to our clients. We believe that a superior product, versatility, and decades of experience is what sets us apart from others.
OUR PROCESS
Estimates Tailored to Your Project
With the guidance of your dedicated project manager, we create an estimate based on verbal descriptions, floor plans, or by conducting on-site measurements. We understand that each project is unique, and we adapt our estimation approach to accommodate the specific scope of your project. Our estimates are carefully calculated and emailed to you directly from our QuickBooks program.
Investing in Design
Once you review and agree to your estimate, it’s time to take the next step towards bringing your vision to life. To initiate the design phase, we kindly request a $500 design retainer. This amount will be fully credited back to you when you place your cabinet order. It’s our way of showing our commitment to your satisfaction.
Designing Your Dream Space
Our talented team will meticulously design your project according to your specific requests. We encourage you to share any inspirational pictures from sources like Pinterest, as these can provide valuable insights into your desired aesthetic. If appliances are part of your project, we ask for your exact appliance specifications to seamlessly incorporate them into the drawings. Please keep in mind that the design process typically takes between 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the complexity of your project. We kindly request that you plan accordingly.
Precision in the Final Design
We leave no room for error when it comes to our drawings. Before we begin production, we ensure that our drawings are accurate down to the last detail. However, we greatly value your input and encourage you to thoroughly review the drawings. This is the time to request any changes or modifications to your project. Keep in mind that making changes after this stage may affect both the installation date and overall pricing.
Placing the Final Order
After your final approval of the design, we will work closely with you to establish an accurate timeline for the installation. We want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of the timeline and know exactly when to expect the installation of your dream space.
Seamless Installation
To ensure a seamless installation process, we typically coordinate our work with other subcontractors. We kindly ask that HVAC systems are fully operational, and most other subcontractors are nearing completion before we begin installation. Please note that we solely handle the cabinet aspect of the project and are unable to perform any plumbing or electrical work. In the case of site-finished wood floors, the final topcoat of varnish may be applied after the cabinets are installed.
